2nd Grade FF Outline
Dear Parents of First Communion students,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce and welcome Mrs. Peggy Trudell to our Faith Formation team. Peggy is currently a second grade teacher at Blessed Sacrament School and has been teaching and preparing her students for these most important Sacraments for over a decade. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for Jesus is exactly what our second grade program needs to help our children build their relationships with God and prepare for their Sacraments. Mrs. Trudell will be leading our second grade program this year, and I look forward to the joy and happiness she is sure to incite in your children.
As you are all aware Faith Formation classes are going to commence in January, however we are proposing a soft rollout of classes for our second grader students beginning the week of Sunday 11/24. We plan to work very closely with our clergy this year and wanted to offer more time in the classroom, by starting sooner for those who feel their children could benefit. There is no obligation for your child to attend classes until the official January 5th start however we have hopes for those of you interested in starting early you would join us. Please be assured if you choose not to participate until January your child will be prepared accordingly as promised.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children, please continue to bring them to weekly mass, pray with them before bed, meals, or truly whatever the occasion, talk to them about your own First Penance and Communion, and familiarize them with these Sacraments much as possible so they are excited and eager to prepare come class time. Thank you for making religious education a priority in your child’s life.
