Welcome to faith formation for youth entering grades 4 & 5. We are so excited to kick off another program year with two options for families:
In-person sessions: Utilizing the Bridges to Faith curriculum created by Joe Paprocki, DMin and published by Loyola Press, youth in grades 4 & 5 will focus on the Four Pillars of the Catholic Faith: The Creed, the Sacraments, Moral Life and Prayer, in a traditional classroom setting.
Youth will be introduced to and explore the main aspects, beliefs and traditions of our Catholic faith through discussion and hands-on, creative projects which strive to reinforce learning, and will participate in monthly service projects and seasonal retreats.
Sessions are held once a month on Sunday mornings in the Blessed Sacrament School, providing the opportunity for youth and their families to attend the 930am Family Mass in Blessed Sacrament Parish.
At-home option: Utilizing curriculum materials from Project Nazareth: Faith Begins at Home youth and their parents will focus their time and energy on weekly catechesis at home as a family, attending Mass and receiving the sacraments, with opportunities to interact once monthly with others who have chosen the homeschool option, through monthly service opportunities and at our seasonal retreats.
