Planning a Funeral

Walpole Catholic's Funeral Ministry is here to serve you, your family, and friends during this time of planning. First, we would like to extend our sincere condolences for your loss. It is never easy to lose a loved one, no matter their age or circumstances. Know that you and your family will be in our prayers. If a loved one has been called home by God we will work in tandem with the funeral home of your choice and will be there for you each step of the way.

During this time of Covid -19 health risk, we have updated our Funeral protocol.

Until further notice, it is the directive from the Archdiocese that Priests do not visit the Funeral Home for viewing hours. A Priest is available for a Funeral Mass in the church and at the graveside. A Funeral Mass will continue to include the participation of the family through the readings and eulogy but at this time the family will not be allowed to bring up the gifts. All attendees must wear a mask and adhere to the 6' social distancing rule at all times. Also, our parishes have reduced their seating capacity and several pews are marked off. At this time the churches can only allow 40% of their capacity.
